This Refund Policy ("Policy") is issued by Appfide Private Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and applies to the FlyTicket platform across all channels: the web application (flyticket.app), the iOS application (Apple App Store), and the Android application (Google Play Store). This Policy covers both flight search services and subscription-based Premium Features, including AI-powered FlyBot chat assistant. Please note that our AI features are currently in beta and are included as part of the Premium subscription.

IMPORTANT: FlyTicket's Role

FlyTicket is a search engine and price comparison service operated by Appfide Private Limited. We aggregate flight data from multiple sources to help you find the best prices. When you click "Book" on our web app or mobile app, you are redirected to the airline or booking provider's website to complete your purchase.

Flight-related cancellations, modifications, refunds, and customer service are handled directly by the airline or booking provider where you completed your purchase, not by FlyTicket or Appfide Private Limited.

PART A: FlyTicket Subscription Refunds

Refund policies for Premium subscription plans purchased across all platforms

1. Subscription Refund Overview

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

FlyTicket Premium subscriptions provide access to enhanced features across web, iOS, and Android platforms. Refund eligibility depends on the platform through which the subscription was purchased and the applicable platform's refund policies.

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) unless cancelled
  • Cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current billing period
  • You retain access to Premium Features until the end of your current paid billing period after cancellation
  • Refund requests must be directed to the platform through which the subscription was originally purchased
  • Appfide Private Limited does not have the ability to process refunds for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

2. iOS (Apple App Store) Refunds

APPLE REFUND PROCESS

Subscriptions purchased through the iOS app are billed and managed by Apple. Refund requests for iOS subscriptions must be submitted directly to Apple:

  • Apple evaluates refund requests at its sole discretion in accordance with Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions
  • Refunds, if approved, are typically processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method
  • Appfide Private Limited has no control over Apple's refund decisions
  • Uninstalling the app does NOT cancel your subscription or trigger a refund

3. Android (Google Play Store) Refunds

GOOGLE PLAY REFUND PROCESS

Subscriptions purchased through the Android app are billed and managed by Google. Refund requests for Android subscriptions must be submitted through Google Play:

  1. 1.Open Google Play Store on your device or visit play.google.com
  2. 2.Tap your profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Budget & History
  3. 3.Find the FlyTicket transaction
  4. 4.Select "Report a problem" or "Request a refund"
  5. 5.Follow the prompts to complete your refund request
  • Within 48 hours of purchase: Google may automatically approve a refund for subscription purchases
  • After 48 hours: Refund requests are reviewed by Google on a case-by-case basis
  • Refunds, if approved, are typically processed within 3-5 business days to the original payment method
  • Appfide Private Limited has no control over Google's refund decisions
  • Uninstalling the app does NOT cancel your subscription or trigger a refund

4. Web (Razorpay) Subscription Refunds

WEB PLATFORM REFUND PROCESS

Subscriptions purchased through the FlyTicket web application (flyticket.app) are processed via Razorpay or other authorized payment gateways. Refund requests for web subscriptions should be directed to Appfide Private Limited:

  2. 2.Include your registered email address and subscription details
  3. 3.Provide the reason for your refund request
  4. 4.Include the transaction ID or payment receipt (if available)
  5. 5.Our team will review and respond within 5-7 business days

Refund Eligibility (Web Subscriptions):

  • Within 7 days of initial purchase: Full refund may be granted if no significant usage of Premium Features has occurred
  • Technical issues: If you experienced documented technical issues preventing you from accessing Premium Features, a full or partial refund may be considered
  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription period, duplicate charges will be refunded in full
  • After 7 days: Refunds are generally not available for subscription periods that have substantially elapsed
  • Change of mind: Refunds are not guaranteed for change-of-mind requests after the 7-day window
  • Account deletion: No refund will be issued if you deleted your account before requesting a refund

Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Account Deletion & Subscription Forfeiture

CRITICAL WARNING

⚠️ IRREVERSIBLE ACTION

If you delete your FlyTicket account, all associated subscriptions will be immediately and permanently terminated. No refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

Appfide Private Limited, its developers, officers, and support team cannot recover deleted accounts or restore subscriptions linked to deleted accounts under any circumstances.

Before deleting your account, please ensure you:

  • !Cancel your subscription through the appropriate platform (App Store, Google Play, or web account settings)
  • !Wait for the current billing period to end to avoid forfeiting remaining paid time
  • !Verify cancellation confirmation from the respective platform before proceeding

PART B: Flight Booking Refunds (Third-Party)

6. Refundable Tickets

FLEXIBLE FARE OPTIONS

Some airlines offer refundable tickets (typically business, first class, or premium economy fares):

  • Full Refund: Eligible for cash refund if cancelled per airline policy
  • Processing Time: Typically 7-20 business days to original payment method
  • Change Flexibility: Usually allows free date/route changes
  • Cancellation: May be done online through airline website or customer service

7. Non-Refundable Tickets

STANDARD ECONOMY FARES

Most economy tickets are non-refundable:

  • No Cash Refund: Cannot be cancelled for money back
  • Credit Only: May receive airline credit/voucher (minus cancellation fee)
  • Change Fees: Date/route changes typically incur $50-$300+ fee plus fare difference
  • Expiration: Airline credits often expire 12 months from original booking date

8. 24-Hour Cancellation Window

FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

U.S. Department of Transportation regulation requires airlines to offer:

  • Free Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled within 24 hours of booking
  • Eligibility: Applies to flights departing from/to the United States
  • Departure Timing: Flight must be at least 7 days away
  • All Fare Types: Applies to both refundable and non-refundable tickets

9. Special Circumstances

EXCEPTION CASES

Airlines may offer refunds or waivers in certain situations:

  • !Flight Cancellation: If airline cancels your flight, you're entitled to a full refund
  • !Significant Delays: Major schedule changes may qualify for refund
  • !Medical Emergencies: Some airlines offer refunds with proper documentation
  • !Natural Disasters: Travel advisories may trigger flexible rebooking policies
  • !Death of Passenger: Most airlines offer full refund with documentation (death certificate)
  • !Government Restrictions: Travel bans or border closures may qualify for refund or rebooking

Contact the airline directly to request exception-based refunds. Appfide Private Limited cannot intervene in or influence airline refund decisions.

10. How to Request a Flight Refund

PROCESS STEPS

To cancel a booking and request a refund from the airline or booking provider:

    Visit the airline's website or call their customer service

11. FlyTicket's Role & Limitations

OUR SERVICE SCOPE

Regarding flight bookings, Appfide Private Limited (FlyTicket):

  • Displays fare rules and refund policies when available from data providers
  • Provides booking confirmation details for your records
  • Offers guidance on refund policies (this page)

We cannot:

  • Process flight refunds directly (these are handled by airlines/booking providers)
  • Override or influence airline refund policies or decisions
  • Guarantee refund approval from any airline or booking provider
  • Be held liable for refund delays, denials, or disputes between you and the airline
